TRACE is a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles California. Her debut EP “LOW” was released in August 2016 and since then has collected over 20 million streams on spotify.  The daughter of a Vietnamese music star, TRACE spent her childhood watching her mother on stages around the world. But it was only a few years ago that TRACE gave up a promising career in editorial work to pursue her own dreams of writing and recording music. Tracking her earliest songs in the bathroom of her small east-LA apartment, she has developed a sound that is resonating with an audience to the tune of well over a million streams every month. Having discovered her music ourselves through a spotify playlist, we were thrilled when she agreed to join us for breakfast and an interview about the foods that have shaped her life. 1 Can of Coconut Milk

1/4 cup of Honey

2oz of Strong Espresso


Bring the coconut milk to a boil on a stovetop; then reduce to a low simmer. Add the honey and cook, stirring occasionally, until it's thickened and reduced - about 15 or 20 minutes. Pour espresso over ice, then add a spoonful of the coconut and honey mixture over top.
